Shaun Nunutzi, member of the Dead Skeletons and now operating under the name TAU. The mystical powers of the desert lands of the Real de Catorce in North West Mexico and has proven to be vital inspiration for the deeply psychedelic mind-trip EP entitled Wirakuta, which is the indigenous name for land. He says of his time there, Whilst the sound on TAU is progressive and pushed forward by propulsive psychedelic thrusts of a contemporary nature, this is also a release that is indebted to tradition and history. Some of the material is reimagined indigenous medicine songs aimed at transcending the mind and liberating the spirit.
