Captured for radio broadcast on a stop in Buffalo in early 1979, this recording finds N.Y.C.'s punk-pop overlords at a fever pitch, ripping through more than 20 of their earliest tunes one after another.
Drummer Marky Ramone was new to the band and provides power-laden tempos for energetic readings of crowd favorites like "Rockaway Beach," "I Wanna Be Sedated," and, of course, "Blitzkrieg Bop."
This broadcast really does captures the band at the peak of their power.
