The show featured on this release was taken from a live FM radio broadcast from The Basement venue in Dallas, Texas, in the final weeks of 1988, finds the band on the cusp of change.

With a heavier and somewhat more aggressive sound than had previously been present in their work, which was now being touted as thrash rather than glam metal, Pantera were ready to ‘bring it on’.

It would be another 18 months until Pantera would release their classic groove metal masterpiece, but in anticipation this gig features an early rendition of ‘Shattered’ from Cowboys from Hell as a taster of what was just around the corner.

The releases also features a near ten minute epic solo from the late DIMEBAG DARREL.
