The real killer here is a version of 'Runaway' by Pitch Black City, a loose collaborative entity comprised of several Detroit musicians, including percussionist Andrés, vocalist Roberta Sweed, and keyboardist Amp Fiddler. A one-sided 12" credited to PBC appeared on Mahogani in 2003, and they were also featured on Moodymann's 'Silence In The Secret Garden' LP on Peacefrog that same year.
