Kaaos were one of the foremost Finnish hardcore bands of the '80s along with RATTUS, TERVEET KADET, APPENDIX, BASTARDS and RIISTETYT. Formed in March 1980, they were one of the first hardcore punk bands in Finland to release a record, and though their line-up has changed frequently through the years, the band is somewhat active through the years. 1983, Kaaos went to the studio to record new material for a LP but that session was never released. Some of these tracks were later re-recorded for their 1984 "Ristiinnaulittu Kaaos" LP. Other tracks from this session were released in 1996 on the "Valtio Tuhoaa Ei Rakenna" 7".
