XMAL DEUTSCHLAND - EARLY SINGLES 1981-1982

 

Xmal Deutschland were a German (originally) all-female band who came to international prominence when they supported Cocteau Twins in 1982 and subsequently signed to 4AD. Often mislabeled as goth they were as goth as say, Siouxie & The Banshees - i.e. dark swirling DIY rock heavily influenced by punk. The collection puts together all their early pre-4AD singles.
