CRUCIFYRE was formed and founded by Yassin Hillborg, formerly from the old-school cult Death Metal band Afflicted.

 

CRUCIFYRE currently consists of members from some of the most notable bands such as Morbid, Crematory, General Surgery, Nasum, Kaamos and Repugnant, etc. 

Former Repugnant and current Kaamos bass-player Karl Envall recently joined the ranks of CRUCIFYRE. 

Mercyful Fate guitar sensation Hank Shermann (Mercyful Fate, ex-Volbeat, Force Of Evil, etc) contributed a lead-guitar guest spot on the track "One And One Is One". 

"Black Magic Fire" was recorded, mixed and mastered at X-Level Studios, one of Sweden's top recording studio that has worked with artistes such as Lady GaGa, ABBA, Roxette, to name a few.
