Liars' fifth album drew acclaim way back in 2010 for its overarching tense atmosphere. Here the Angus Andrew-led trio streamlined their noise rock and experimental rock craft: their grooves became more pummeling, their anger intensified, and Andrew's lyricism became increasingly pointed. 'Sisterworld' has stood the test of time as one of the finest works of Liars' early period.
