In the course of High Roller's select back catalogue reissues from Vulcano, the label also releases a remastered version of the band's latest full-length "Epilogue", which was self-published by mastermind Zhema in early 2024.

 

The group's 13th longplayer sees the core duo - guitarist/main songwriter Zhema guitars and singer Luiz Carlos Louzada have been working together since 1997 - in top form, highlighting their unique chemistry.

Given the high intensity of the material, which leaves nothing but scorched earth in less than 30 minutes, one has to wonder why the Brazilian legends had to release it on their own.

 

And if you want to take the title "Epilogue" literally, you are mistaken, since Zhema's already working on new stuff to keep Brazil's old-school spirit alive!
