RAT CITY RIOT - HIGHWAY HYMNS 

Ten years now on the open road, Rat City Riot, the band that's synonymous with hard-charging anthems and rocket-fueled live shows, presents their latest record- Highway Hymns for summer release on European label Knockout Records. And you know RCR will be laying rubber and it's trademark Street Rock down all over Europe in support of this latest release. A decade has passed for Rat City Riot. The band has seen alot of highways and a whole lot of places, but the current rock solid line-up and tireless dedication of original member/lead singer Noah Bricker has resulted in a record that both celebrates and exemplifies what Rat City Riot has always been at its core, and brings the mayhem to a whole new level. After a whirlwind 2011, And hitting the main stage for the first time at Rebellion fest. The band boasts sharing the stage with legends like CockSparrer, Dropkick Murphys, The Boys, Jello Biafra, the Business, and Anti Nowhere-League... Just to name a few. After the last summer tour the band got right back to work on writing Highway Hymns- and pushed itself through new boundaries. Blending Punk, Rock n Roll, Country, Hardcore, Blues and Street Rock- Highway Hymns is a musical chronical of the relentless journey the band embodies. The band has some surprises for you on this one, and you will be glad you hopped in for a ride. Summer 2012 marks the most exciting tour to date for RCR. In addition to a second lap at Rebellion Festival in the UK, Rat City Riot debuts at Mighty Sounds Festival in CZ, and the Back to the futre and Endless Summer festivals in Germany. And to make some noise between those festivals Rat City Riot was happy to announce they will be supporting Rancid in Koln, Munich and Vienna. Back for the explosion are Kevin Grossman (ex. Bonecrusher), Andy Mensing, and Mike Hertel- and new comer Chris Bieck will be burning it down on the bass. The band is running like a well tuned engine and revved to return for the ultimate summer of Punk Rock with old and new friends all over Europe. Get excited.
