After four years of silence, Solefald return with Norronasongen, an experimental soundtrack to the fjords and mountains of Norway, and a hymn to the nature of the North.

Norronasongen. Kosmopolis Nord is a prequel to Solefalds forthcoming album Kosmopolis Sud (set for early 2015), conceived as a hybrid release for the LP format.

With a crew totalling ten musicians, Solefald venture into new collaborations and soundscapes.

Avantgarde pioneers Solefald have reaped excellent reviews since 1997, and the previous album Norrn livskunst (2010) obtained ovations world wide.

Solefald presents you with 37 minutes of Norse Folk, involving Progressive Rock, Electro and Noise.

With guest apperance from Baard Kolstad (God Seed, Borknagar), Alexander Be (In Vain), Petter Hallar嫥r (ICS Vortex, Rendezvous Point) and Einar Kvitrafn Selvik (Wardruna).
