Stockholm post-punk band Viagra Boys have announced their new album “viagr aboys” via their newly formed label Shrimptech Enterprises. Co-produced by frequent VIagra Boys collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt, “viagr aboys” channels the band's keen observational humor and unique ability to simultaneously dismantle everything and nothing while juxtaposing real life with high art.

 

The album's first single, “Man Made of Meat”, is inspired by singer Sebastian Murphy's experiences cruising through Walmarts while touring the US with Queens of the Stone Age last year. The track is driven by masterful basslines and guitar riffs as Murphy pokes fun at your mom's OnlyFans and dreams of scoring free women's sweaters from L.L.Bean. The more the chaos escalates, the more complicit Murphy feels, culminating in his somber but relatable confession, “I hate almost everything I see, and I just want to disappear.”
