2012
Daytrader plays a stirring punk rock with post-hardcore influences. The songs are intense, somewhat dark yet very melodic. It does not get a 5 star as not all the songs are as good (first 5 are brilliant), though it finishes with the best song on the album for me 'Letter to a former lover'. Brilliantly moving and sarcastic. The kind of song you want to play over and over again. This actually goes for the whole album, it grows on you and never bores you. If you like The Wonder Years, Thrice, Deaf Havana, etc.. you will like this too.
