Coming from the land down under can prove to be a hindrance for hardcore bands seeking international attention. It wasn't until recently that Australia was given any thought from the rest of the world's hardcore community. The primary band responsible for opening those eyes is MILES AWAY. Extensive touring in Australia with bands such as CHAMPION (Bridge 9) and BETRAYED (Equal Vision) opened up the roadways to the rest of the world. In the past two years MILES AWAY has toured the US, Japan and Australia, while releasing two full lengths on Bridge 9 Records. Whatever ground they have yet to touch will be covered this spring on their world tour in support of their strongest effort to date, Rewind, Repeat...
