Pure Love is the first musical offering from Frank Carter since he quit his post as frontman of Gallows. Teaming up with ex-Hope Conspiracy guitarist to form the band, Carter has described Pure Love as "the band I've always wanted to be in". 

 

He said: "We both decided that we didn't want to play heavy music anymore. We'd both played punk music for a long time and we wanted to do something different. We had a wealth of music between us and we just wanted to play fun rock'n'roll music without any of the stress." 

 

Anthems, Pure Love's debut album, is the first chance for fans to hear Carter's new musical direction.
